Do I qualify for Medicare?

You’re at least 65 years old, or you’re under 65 and qualify on the basis of a disability other special situation.

AND

You’re a U.S. citizen or a legal resident who has lived in the U.S. for at least five consecutive years.

I am enrolled in Medicare. Why would I need something to fill the gaps?

Original Medicare has high deductibles and a percentage of cost, with no out of pocket limit. That leaves a medicare client vulnerable to unpredictable medical costs, without limits.

I don't take prescription drugs. If I don't have a Medicare prescription drug plan, could I be accruing penalties or be vulnerable to unpredictable costs in the future?
